Heligoland is Massive Attack's fifth official studio album, released on 8th February 2010.

The tracklisting is as follows:

The iTunes Deluxe Version features six extra tracks:

Five of these tracks (and Gui Boratto's dub of Paradise Circus) were made available to Facebook users a couple of weeks before Heligoland's release. The specially-commissioned films to accompany tracks from the album were viewable on 'Tweatre' (an exclusive Twitter platform). ____________________________________________________________________________________

The deluxe vinyl edition includes triple vinyl (the album spread over two discs, plus an 12" of remixes), the album on CD, a book of artwork by 3D not available anywhere else, all housed in an exclusive black glitter sleeve: this is available from The Vinyl Factory.

The sleeve artwork was created by Robert and designed with Tom H (who has worked on all Massive Attack artwork since Mezzanine). Check the Heligoland artwork blog for more images and information...

The first material from Heligoland to be released was the Splitting The Atom EP which, alongside the title track and Pray For Rain, included remixes of Flat Of The Blade (entitled Bulletproof Love) and Psyche.
